Terms of service

1. The service

Credocent gives your employees answers based on the documents your company uploads, with a reference to the source.

Answers are generated by AI. They are decision support, not professional advice, and the customer stays responsible for its own procedures and decisions.

2. Accounts

The service is for business use only. The person creating the account confirms they may bind the company.

Login details are personal and must not be shared. The customer is responsible for activity under its accounts.

3. Trial period

New customers get a 7-day free trial without a card. If no plan is chosen at the end of the trial, access is paused and content is kept for 30 days.

4. Plans, prices and payment

All prices are in EUR and exclude VAT. Plans are billed monthly in advance and include the employee and question limits shown on the pricing page.

Persistent use above the plan limits may require an upgrade. Prices may change with 30 days' notice, effective from the next billing period.

5. Acceptable use

The customer may not upload content it has no right to use, attempt to reach another workspace, resell the service without a written agreement, or use it to break the law.

6. Customer content

The customer owns its documents and the answers generated from them. We only process that content to deliver the service, and never to train AI models.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability and reply to support requests by email on working days. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

8. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by mandatory law.

9. Termination

The customer can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid period. We may suspend an account for non-payment or serious misuse.

On termination the customer can export its data; afterwards content is deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes and governing law

Material changes to these terms are announced at least 30 days in advance.

The agreement is governed by Norwegian law, without affecting mandatory consumer or local rules that apply to the customer.
